Process Mining That Quantifies Bottlenecks in Rupees, Not Just Diagrams
Most process mining tools draw you a pretty map and stop. Crestline ranks the bottlenecks by the cash they're costing you — and names who can fix each one.
Process mining has a credibility problem. The classic demo ends with a gorgeous spaghetti diagram of your actual process — and then leaves the hardest question unanswered: so what do we fix first? A map of 200 activities isn't a decision. The cash impact is.
Crestline is built to answer that question directly.
It reconstructs the process you actually run
Point Crestline at an event log — a CSV or XLSX export, or a live Salesforce connection — and its discovery engine reconstructs the actual flow in a single pass: not the SOP, not the intended process, but what really happened. In that one pass it computes the process map, the variants (ideal, rework, skipped, extended, alternate), the department breakdown, cross-system handoffs, per-actor workload, and the bottlenecks.
Bottlenecks ranked by money, not by frequency
This is the part that changes the conversation. Each bottleneck is z-score ranked and cash-quantified — estimated annual cost computed from the money flowing through the step, the extra days it adds, and the cost of that delay. The output isn't "this step is slow." It's "this step is costing roughly ₹X per year, and it's the biggest one."
Every activity card carries the same operational truth: how many cases pass through, the median wait, the top actor and their share, the top department, the system it runs in, and the rupees flowing through it. Edges are colour-graded green-to-rose by how slow they are, and cross-system handoffs — the SAP-to-Oracle friction that nobody owns — are flagged automatically.
It names who can fix it — without making things up
The AI explainer turns a bottleneck into a recommendation grounded in real data: workload distribution, hour-of-day patterns, alternative actors, and the caller's own org graph. A typical output reads like:
Reassign about 12 cases a week from the overloaded actor (89% load) to a teammate on the same team at 34% load. Schedule the work for their fastest window. Estimated saving: meaningful days per case.
Crucially, the explainer is passed only the structured facts from your data. The system prompt forbids inventing names, departments, numbers or vendors. You get specific, named, actionable advice — without hallucinated specifics.
A war room for every persona
The same discovery result is rendered as four role-specific dashboards — CFO, COO, Project Manager, Compliance — each with the hero metric, stats and action items that role cares about, plus audit-export cards for evidence packs. The CFO sees margin impact; compliance sees conformance breaches; everyone is looking at the same underlying truth.
A modern alternative to legacy process mining
Heavyweight process-mining platforms were built for million-dollar transformation programs and the consultants who run them. Crestline brings the same discovery rigor into a workspace that also remembers your org, automates the follow-up, and quantifies the fix in your currency — so the insight turns into action the same afternoon, not the next quarter.
