Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Crestline platform operated by Crestline Intelligence Private Limited (“Crestline”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), including crestlineintelligence.com and the application at app.crestlineintelligence.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation.
1Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Crestline. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for safeguarding your credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@crestlineintelligence.com if you suspect unauthorised access. Where your account belongs to an organisation, your administrator may control, access, restrict, or remove it.
2Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. Specifically, you will not use Crestline to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights; upload malware or attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt our systems; reverse-engineer or copy the platform; resell or provide the service to third parties outside your organisation without our written agreement; scrape or extract data by automated means beyond our documented APIs; or upload content you have no right to upload. We may suspend accounts that put the service, our users, or our infrastructure at risk.
3Your Data and Ownership
You retain all rights, title, and interest in the content you and your organisation submit to Crestline (“Customer Data”). We claim no ownership over it. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data strictly to the extent needed to operate and support the service for you, and to comply with law. We do not use Customer Data to train generalised AI models. Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4Third-Party Services
Crestline connects to third-party systems — such as Google Workspace, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft — at your direction. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or acts. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to connect any account and to bring its data into Crestline. Data received from Google APIs is additionally governed by the Limited Use commitments set out in our Privacy Policy.
5AI-Generated Output
Crestline uses large language models to generate summaries, briefs, recommendations, and other output. AI output is probabilistic and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. It is provided as decision support, not as professional advice — legal, financial, tax, medical, or otherwise. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it or acting on it, and for any decision you make on its basis. Crestline is not liable for decisions taken in reliance on AI-generated output.
6Fees and Payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle stated in your order or plan selection. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a written agreement. We may change pricing on 30 days’ notice, effective at your next renewal. You are responsible for applicable taxes. If payment fails, we may suspend access after reasonable notice. Free and trial tiers are provided as-is and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
7Confidentiality
Each party may receive information from the other that is confidential. Each party agrees to protect the other’s confidential information with at least the same care it applies to its own, and to use it solely to perform under these Terms. This does not apply to information that is public through no fault of the receiving party, independently developed, rightfully received from a third party, or required to be disclosed by law — provided reasonable notice is given where legally permitted.
8Intellectual Property
Crestline, including the platform, its software, design, documentation, and trademarks, is and remains our exclusive property and that of our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service — no other rights are granted by implication. Feedback you send us may be used freely and without obligation to compensate you.
9Service Availability
We work to keep Crestline available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service unless a separate written service-level agreement says otherwise. We may perform maintenance, modify features, or discontinue parts of the service. For material adverse changes to a paid plan, we will give reasonable advance notice.
10Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every threat, or that AI output will be accurate.
11Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or five thousand Indian rupees if you are on a free plan. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crestline and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, damage, loss, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your Customer Data, your use of the service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or of a third party’s rights.
13Termination
You may stop using Crestline and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and fail to cure within 30 days of notice, or immediately where the breach poses a security, legal, or infrastructure risk. On termination, your right to use the service ends. You may export your Customer Data before termination, and we will delete it in line with the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive — including ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity — will survive.
14Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. Before filing, the parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by writing to info@crestlineintelligence.com and allowing 30 days to resolve the matter.
15Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product and the law evolve. When changes are material, we will update the effective date above and notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of Crestline after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the service and close your account.
16General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order form, are the entire agreement between you and Crestline regarding the service, and supersede prior discussions. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the provision is enforced to the maximum extent permitted. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
